Agluirutet 2 , Connected Earring Pattern
Agluirutet is a jewelry style worn by our Alaska Native ancestors that both sides connect, from single to multi strand. This style of earring was worn for ceremonies and dance but is now worn as general use jewelry. The design is created with traditional colors of white, red, blue and black with bone bead accents.
Another name used for this earring style is Agluirun; string of beads hanging below the wearer's jaw connecting a pair of earrings.
Beading Technique: Brick Stitch & Fringe
Seed Beads: Size 11
Bead Colors: 3
Additional Beads: 4mm Druk Beads, 3mm Miyuki Bugle Beads, Hairpipe Bone Beads
